Rules/How to Play
LMS 2:
Last Man Standing 2 is a game in which you pick one of the 92 English league sides each week that you believe will avoid defeat. If that team does - great! You remain through to the following week. If that team loses however - you're out! The Last Man Standing will be the winner! The following rules apply to this new version of LMS;
• LMS 2 will this time focus on the English league fixtures from the Premier League to League Two.
• To make your selection, simply go to the "Prediction Forum" and find the relevant game week. State your team as a "new reply" to my original post. You can change your team if you wish up until the deadline of 9pm on Friday evenings. Note a 7pm deadline applies when there are Friday night fixtures taking place.
• You can only pick each team ONCE. Please visit the "Previous Selections" page to check which teams you have used in previous game weeks.
• Each player will have the option to play a "joker" on any game week during the competition. This means they select a team as normal but if their chosen team WINS, they will gain an extra life in the competition. They can only use their "joker" ONCE.
• A player can only afford a maximum of FOUR draws during the competition to progress. On the FIFTH occasion their chosen team draws, they will be eliminated from the competition.
• Only THREE players can select the same team in any given game week.
• If everyone remaining is knocked out in the same weekend, they will be put back in for the next week until we have a winner/runner-up.
• In the event of postponements, you will be permitted to proceed into the next game week providing the game has been postponed after the cut-off time of 9pm on Friday evenings. Note a 7pm deadline applies when there are Friday night fixtures taking place.
• In the unlikely event of your chosen team's game being abandoned, the score at the time of the abandonment will be taken to determine your outcome for that game week.
• Weekend English league fixtures only (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday). I will have the fixtures ready on the Wednesday (at the latest) before each weekend. If there is however a full fixture list in midweek, then there will be a game round during that week.
• A full Gameweek consists of 50% or more of all teams playing (23 or more fixtures).
• For members that haven't picked by the cut-off point they will be knocked out immediately after the deadline has been surpassed. This ensures only committed players continue to play.
All members participate in accordance with the rules set out above. Your selections are made on the basis you have read the above rules and understand that failure to follow one or more of these rules may lead to expulsion from the competition.
Your first entry for 'Game Week One' must be in by 7pm on Friday 20th November. You will NOT be able to make your first selection until you have paid your £5 entry fee.

If that team loses however - you're out! If you are still in, however, the next week you can't pick that team again. The Last Man Standing will be the winner!
• Your first entry for 'Week One' must be in by 9pm on Friday 7th August. That's the cut off point for entries and will apply for each game week thereafter. You will NOT be able to make your first selection until you have paid your £5 entry fee.
